About Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen
Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen is the largest scouting federation in Belgium. Scouting is a method that helps children and young people grow up. Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen as a youth movement has its pedagogical view on scouting: with its method, mission, and vision, based on five basic pillars: initiative, commitment, teamwork, cooperation, and service.
Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen wants to contribute towards the development of children and young people, as individuals, in groups, and within society. Children and young people experience the time of their lives together with their friends.
Why did they need a DAM?
Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen needs lots of photos for printed and online communication. They use pictures they receive from their groups, and with 500 groups, they receive a lot of photos. Before they started using Kadanza the process was receiving photos, putting them in a folder, and trying to remember where one specific campfire image was.

This situation let them realize that they needed to be more efficient. They needed to store and organize their assets as well as find them in a few minutes, or even seconds. That’s why they started to search for a platform where they can tag, store and share photos easily.
Starting with Kadanza
There were several options on the market from which to choose, but the majority of them were quite expensive. Then, they crossed paths with Kadanza.
Instead of importing all the previous assets to Kadanza, they decided to start from scratch and have more than 4000 assets and over 40 users in 2 years by now.
